Honor's Ceremory

Although, they don't give out honor's until like 3rd grade.  The 1st grade was still part of the ceremony calling the kids up for all the special awards he received this year. 

 

 

Connor received awards for - Physical Education, Successful Completion of First Grade, Excellence in Artwork, Technology and 100% Homework All Year!  Connor ended the year with all A's and B+'s.  So proud of that little man!

You will do amazing in 2nd grade!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last Day of 1st Grade

Mommy and Zennon got up early with Connor on his last day of school for a few reasons.  We of course had to take our normal "last day of school" photo session!  We had some teacher gifts to hand out and we wanted to go to his honor's ceremony at school.

Soccer for both boys

Signed Zennon up for the Pre K - K team at Connor's school this spring when we signed Connor up for the 1st and 2nd grade team!  I was a little nervous because I remember how Connor was at only 4 years old.  But, I should of known they are two totally different kids..  Zennon was by far the smallest kid on his team but, it did not hold him back in any ways! 

Last game of the season for Zennon's team - they were short kids - Connor was dressed for his game that was next so, he got to play!

Talent Show

Connor's class was part of the school's talent show this year.  They sang a song and did a rhyme about all the presidents!

Connor class Zoo trip

One last field trip to end his 1st grade experience!  The first graders paired up with the 8th graders and took a field trip to the Zoo, With all the help from the 8th grades this was a piece of cake chaperoning this trip.

 

 Our group of kids we got to explore the zoo with!  We had such a great time with just amazing kids.

 We made enough time to ride the Carousel - yup, Connor had to ride the Cheetah. 

 Saw some friends (Jacob and Ethan) while exploring the zoo - they all wanted a picture!

Pittsburgh Steelers

We took a little spur of the moment trip to Pittsburgh to cheer on the Steelers in the playoffs.. We took Connor along for his first ever Steelers Game!

Friday..

We drove in on Friday, and spend the evening having a bit of fun around the city!

We met up with Uncle Bob, Aunt Jennifer, Kristina & Chris at the Jerome Bettis Bar & Grill after getting all unpacked and settled in.  After grabbing a bite we eat we took a train ride to the city to do a little bit of ice skating.

We had a fun evening and someone was super anxious for the next day!!

Saturday: Game Day

Or should I say game night,, The game was not on until later in the evening so, we had a little bit of down time to do a little exploring and shopping..

 

At last, it was time to get ready and head to the game!

Eric spotted Maurkice Pouncey's brother (Mike Pouncey of Miami Dolphins) at the game to cheer on his brother! Of course we got a picture with him.  I don't think many people knew who he was..

Happy Halloween

 This year Halloween was a massive overload of fun!  The boys got to dress up in costumes more than just a few times!! Started off mid October when they were invited to Josie's birthday party - where they got to trick - or - treat, 2 full bags of candy - that was impressive!

Then Zennon, Ga Sandy & I went to Little Boo at the Zoo - where Zennon got to dress up and trick - or - treat and even check out all the animals.  It was a fun day all about Zennon.

And Finally, it was Halloween!  The final and actual Halloween!! Unfortunately, little Zennon's allergies / cold & cough has gotten him once again so he will be relaxing in the warmth with Papa Bill & Ga April tonight.  While big brother trick or treats with some friends..
