Good-bye 3rd grade

Well that's a wrap for 3rd grade.  We watched Connor grow in many ways this year!  We owe a lot of that to an amazing teacher!!  Good thing we will still see her around the school and have Zennon going through her class to look forward too.  She truly was above and beyond what you would expect out of a teacher.

With that being said - Welcome to 4th Grade Connor!!!

Bat mobile

Connor's school had a bit of a visitor come to the school.  His maintenance man at the school and his father built a replica of the bat mobile and brought it to school for the day for all the kids to see.  When Zennon and I went to pick him up we saw it sitting in the driveway.

Connor's teacher texted me the class picture with the bat mobile.  So thankful that she is able to share fun moments of the class with us!

Grandparents Day

Connor's school has finally brought back Grandparents Day or as they called it VIP Day!!

I loved getting these pictures throughout the day.

Grandparents could bring lunch for the kids - Connor asked for Subway!!!

Lunch date with Grandma Sandy, then she got to check our Connor's classroom and see what he's been up to lately.

 Sounds like they both had a great time!! 

I also found this super cute picture on the schools website a few days after the event.

Spring Fling Concert

Just a little clip from Connor's spring fling show.

There music teacher was doing a little trail run - thinking about making this a yearly thing.. I would never argue about a chance to go see the kids perform! 

Zennon's Party

Zennon's class had a huge Easter Egg hunt for Easter..

Rylinn went with mommy to help and she fit right in with all those little kids.

 And.. I didn't dare make her hang out with mommy, she really thought she was one of the kids in class.

Field Trip with daddy

I love that daddy likes to be involved in the boys school lives as much as me.  I know he cant do as much but, when he has time he really likes to try.  Zennon's class was offered some tickets to go see a show at the local theatre and daddy was able to be off from work so, he drove for the field trip.  He said the kids did good for the 1st hour than they were pretty antsy but, come on what do you expect they are 4 and 5 years old.

Field Trip with Zennon

I volunteered to drive for Zennon's class field trip. 

Eric ended up having a pretty easy day at work so, him and Rylinn tagged along too.

It 's nice when we are both are able to do something fun with the kids!

We went to Erie Apple Orchard

and got to do some pretty fun stuff!

We learned how the apples get sorted because different apples are used for different things.

 Daddy, Mommy and Rylinn took a selfie while the kids were

watching the apples get turned into cider.

 We took a hay ride back to pick apples.

 And ate warm fresh donuts.

 Zennon wanted his picture as a witch.

 Somebody just couldn't hang with the big kids

 He made the best Frankenstein.

Field Trips are so much fun!!

They are off

Off to school that is! 

Both Connor and Zennon are off to their 1st day of the school year! 

Connor is in 3rd grade and Zennon is in Pre-K.

Rylinn and I are really going to miss having these guys around all the time!

Connor is a trooper; he is so over my back to school pictures. 

 Yes! we had to have some silly pictures too.

 Connor is so big, he didn't even need his mommy to walk him in this year:(

Don't get my wrong - I am very proud he is brave enough to walk in alone (we all know mommy is not that brave)
Thank goodness this little stud - needs me for the next couple years.
He was so excited by the way to start his new school!

The end of 2nd Grade

School is officially out for summer! 

Eric and I have a flipping 3rd grader. 

How in the world did this happen? 

When did he become so old!

I hope you enjoy your summer vacation kid! 

We have a few fun filled vacations with family planned. 

Playdates with friends on the calendar.

And hopefully lots and lots of outdoor play and swimming!

Connor's Christmas Program

Connor's school does a Christmas Program for grades K - 5..Thankfully we still have a few years left of totally cuteness!  They decided to do it gym this year so, it made it hard to get some good photo's of him.. We tried though!!

He is starting off at 3 half days a week!!

I  will miss him while he is at school. Rylinn will be tiny bit bored when he is at school.  We will  miss his is constant energy,  his non stop talking, and his never ending energy..
