Vacation Day 2

Saturday was a beautiful day to take the boat out!  The boys could barely wait any longer to get out on the water..

Connor all set and ready to go!
The boys enjoying the sites.. Or looking for Dolphins..
Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Bob joined in on the fun!
Papa Bill and Ga - April..
Connor was just loving the boat, views, and the water!

 Papa and the boys

Connor and his own "titanic" moment!

We took a nice ride  (boys kept wanting to go fast) around before heading to lunch at the Sailor's Return.  It was so nice just to relax and enjoy the views.

View of the restaurant from where we docked the boat.

Papa's boat looking from the restaurant.

After lunch, we of course had to go swimming.

You will notice with the rest of these posts - there was a lot of "thumbs up" pictures..
 All smiles..
 Silly faces

After we were all swam out, we went over to check out Aunt Jennifer & Uncle Bob's new house and have a lovely dinner our on the covered patio!  Aunt Jen & Johnathan dug out some of Johnathan's old cars and toys for the boys to play with and boy did they love it :)  They made themselves at home.  We also managed to learn about a "new" movie Dolphin Tale (which in now a FAVORITE and we watch at least twice a week)

This day resulted in one tired little boy!!!

Vacation Day 1

Since this was our 1st "major" vacation as a family since Zennon was born I went a little picture crazy!!!  I think it's best to do this blog as a day by day playbook of everything the boys enjoyed during our time in Florida!

With that said Day 1

Day one was filled with some very early travel (Zennon a 1st timer)

Connor boarding the plane!!
 Zennon boarding the plane!
 They really were excited!!
Daddy & Zennon - getting ready to take off..
Connor & Mommy all set for take off!
Zennon realizing were finally landing - welcome to Florida

Enjoying the window seats..
Connor so happy to be landing in the warmth..

since, we spent our morning traveling we still had time to enjoy some of our day.

Zennon having some fun at lunch.

After lunch,  we went to visit Papa Bill's sister (Monica) and she brought food so the boys could feed the fish and birds in the pond in her development.

I was just obsessing over this guy or gals Mohawk..

Look! How close we could get..

Thank you Monica for a wonderful time, the boys are still talking about the fun they had!

As, if we didn't do a lot in our day already, we still found time to go get the boys life jackets ( they needed them to go on the boat - and papa and grandma wanted them to be a perfect fit).
Zennon fell asleep on me while life jacket shopping..  I was soaking it all up - this happens less and less as he gets older.

Then we got to meet up with Uncle Bob and Aunt Jennifer for dinner at the New England Fish Market.  Very good food - but being it was a Friday Night, during lent, in Florida - we waited a very very long time to be seated and a very very long time for our food - but, once we got it - it was very very good!!!!

Day one!! Everyone was exhausted....:)

Birthday #1

An early birthday celebration since we will be vacationing when this little man turns 3!!

GiGi, Papa Pat and Ga - Sandy were all here the Thursday before we left for Florida, so we figured it would be the perfect opportunity to have a little birthday fun!  I mean pizza, cookie cake, presents.  What's not to love?

Zennon's Dinosaur Cookie Cake
All excited to blow out his candle's.
He did great!!! With a little help from big brother (which he was not very happy about)
And... He blew them out again!!! (Insisted on it)
Waiting patiently for his piece of cookie cake!!!

Time for some presents!!!

I think he is finally getting "how this works"
 Dart Board from GiGi

New clothes and a ride on scooter from Papa Pat & Ga - Sandy

His very "own" super hero action figures. And yes, he still has chocolate all over this face....

I know he felt pretty special and enjoyed his "birthday" evening!

A little Easter Fun..

Since the Easter Bunny would come while we were away - we decided to have an Easter Egg Hunt before we left.

Zennon having a blast looking for eggs.

Connor kicked butt - found them so fast!

They were even hiding all over the swing set.
 Counting all his eggs!
Finding the last few eggs with a little help from Ga - Sandy!

We didn't quite have enough time before we left to color eggs but, the boys really wanted too so, after we were home from vacation - we finally colored some eggs!!!!!

And... boys did they enjoy!!
