Labor Day Sun

Labor Day Weekend is always super eventful for this clan!  We usually invite family & friends over for a rather large pig roast!!  We have done this since Connor's 1st birthday!  This year however, we sadly had to pass - we were simply way to busy with our new little addition, Connor's birthday, and keeping up on our regular lives of running a business.

We struggled with the decision for quiet awhile.. We were back and forth but, ultimately it was just to much:( 

I was so super excited when my Uncle & Aunt jumped in and invited the family over for some fun in the sun!! I am very glad, we were able to spend time with family amongst our crazy busy lives!

And its pretty hard to keep these kiddos out of the pool.. 

OHHH.. We need a pool!!

Heat, Sun & Water

On last day of fun before Connor was heading back to school.. Zennon is back to school as well just not quite as early..  Our last outing with all of us before the craziness of school, work, sports keep us busy!

We found this little splash pad about 45 minutes north of us!  It was perfect for the kids.  It was very reasonably priced..  We had 2 1/2 hours of splash time in the water park.. Changed our clothes, had a picnic lunch that we packed, then enjoyed some time playing at the park before heading home..

 

 

I mean how can you go wrong with a splash pad on a nice hot day?? You can't, we had a blast!!

Vacation Day 4

The boys were all about fishing on Monday.  Papa Bill & Daddy headed out to get some bait before fishing so, these bubbles kept them busy ( and mommy sane) for quite some time!

 

 

 

Bubbles are always a a fun way to pass the time, especially when you have two very anxious boys just wanting everything to happen at that moment!

 

 Connor really got into the whole fishing thing.  Didn't want to leave his pole for a second.

 Zennon on the other hand, had more fun running around the boat.

 Daddy caught the 1st fish and let both boys help reel it in.

 And then.. Connor caught 2 fish - the most for that day!  You go buddy!!!

Being on the water for boating or fishing was just so relaxing.

 

 

 

 

Vacation Day 2

Saturday was a beautiful day to take the boat out!  The boys could barely wait any longer to get out on the water..

We took a nice ride  (boys kept wanting to go fast) around before heading to lunch at the Sailor's Return.  It was so nice just to relax and enjoy the views.

 After lunch, we of course had to go swimming.

After we were all swam out, we went over to check out Aunt Jennifer & Uncle Bob's new house and have a lovely dinner our on the covered patio!  Aunt Jen & Johnathan dug out some of Johnathan's old cars and toys for the boys to play with and boy did they love it :)  They made themselves at home.  We also managed to learn about a "new" movie Dolphin Tale (which in now a FAVORITE and we watch at least twice a week)

 

This day resulted in one tired little boy!!!
