Three little cuties

I swear Zennon and Rylinn may loves babies more than their momma.
Is that even possible??
Every time they have a chance they are in full baby swing.
When Brook is here - I'm pretty sure they ( Zennon & Rylinn ) fight over who plays with her more, who helps her more, who does anything and everything with her more..

Christmas Gifts

Sometimes Christmas gifts need to be kid tested and approved before they are wrapped and delivered to our baby cousin Brook.
And yes.. its after Christmas but, we didn't celebrate with her until almost the end of January

Special Day for a Special Girl

I should of known from how busy our schedule was that something, just something small would go wrong.  But, if you would of told me this, I would of laughed.  You see I figured we would forget something along the lines of Rylinn or Zennon's blankets (which are a must at bedtime) or maybe we would forget the Destin (and this one time would be the time she really needed it) or I might even say that we would forget the gift for this special little girl.  It is safe to say we had packed and remembered every single little thing.
Our vacation started off on a whirlwind, Connor had baseball practice and really didn't want to skip so, why daddy and Connor were at practice.  I got everything ready, the car packed and as soon as they were home we could hit to the road.
Since Aunt Jenn, Uncle Tom and Brook already had lots of visitors in town we decided to stop Friday night in Cincinnati and visit with Uncle Tom & Aunt Lauren for a evening.  We got in kinda late on Friday but, spent most of Saturday visiting before eating a late lunch as heading out to finish our trip.
Let's be clear, I did not forget a single thing for any of my babies!  They all were looking extra cute..  This little miss playing with her brother's headphones!
All my little loves with their Papa Bill & Daddy.
See anything wrong with this picture yet?
Clue... look at daddy :(
Reminder Daddy is Brook's godfather.
We left daddy's suit & tie and my dress hanging by the back door..Total bummer :(
Wanted it to be the last thing we loaded so, it would be on top and not wrinkly.
Thankfully, we did have golf shorts and shirt that Eric was going to wear at the after party.  I had a fancy top and yoga pants that I was going to wear at the party after.  Little did I know, I would have to wear it the entire time.
The only plus in the situation is we realized we forgot everything on Saturday evening so, Aunt Jenn and Uncle Tom had a little time to play damage control.  We had brought our dress shoes so, all daddy needed to borrow was dress pants, shirt and tie.  A bit to big but, it served its purpose.

These little sweeties were wore out after the Baptism.

Little beauty playing in her princess dress!
Leaving to come home, it never a fun time..  Long car rides, saying goodbye family, unpacking, and just going back to our normal schedules.  We stopped at a gas station for some drinks and snacks for our trip..
I asked daddy for a candy bar and this is what he brought me.
I sure hope that is not what he thought of me this weekend... lol

Cousinly Love

It is a big weekend for Connor so, we had lots of family come in town to help Connor celebrate!
We went to dinner with Papa Pat, Grandma Sandy, Uncle Tom & Aunt Lauren.
After dinner we stopped by Papa Bill's and Grandma April's to visit with Uncle Tom and Aunt Jen and the kids were most excited to see their baby cousin Brook.
Zennon snapped this sweet picture of Grandma with sleeping baby cousin.

Fresh Baby

Nothing is better than a sweet new baby coming into the world!
Only thing that is better is knowing that this sweet new baby is joining our family!
To the surprise of many we got a phone call today that Eric and I were going to become an Aunt and Uncle and
(although, Eric is already and Uncle and when I married him I too technically became and Aunt but, they are both older and although we love them dearly - its hard to picture them our niece and nephew.. - we are almost more like cousins - just being closer in age- if that makes any sense)
that our three kids are going to have a new cousin..
Baby Brook was on her way!
You see she was few weeks early, and as the day went on and still nothing new, we wondered if she was trying to share a birthday with Uncle Eric.
Just shy of midnight she decided it was time so have her own special day!
Welcome to the world our sweet little niece Brook.

Baby Fun

Hey!
I am doing a post about a baby and it's not my own...
Let me start by saying how much I love to plan parties!
Birthday Parties, Bridal Showers, Annual Themed Pig Roasts and especially Baby Showers.  and this time was no different!!
When Eric and I heard the news that our little kiddos were going to have a new baby cousin, my brain immediately started filling with all these adorable little ideas to make his sisters baby shower perfect!  When we found out it was going to be a little girl that made it even a little bit sweeter!  Being new to the whole girl (and PINK) thing myself my head was spinning..  Where to begin!!!
There were so many precious themes for little girl showers but, we wanted to choose something that would match the nursery, once mommy and daddy finally filled us in on how they were going to decorate the nursery I could start to fill in the pieces!!
Any idea's yet?
Nursery color's were bright pink and bright green.
Crib bedding was pink and green chevron.
(Grandma had bought the baby a sign for her room)
Sugar & Spice and Everything Nice, that's what little girls are made of
so, we had a theme!
So cute & fun!!
Gift Table!
Proud big cousin Connor made this adorable "Baby Shower!" sign for Aunt Jenn & really wanted it hung.  I think it looks just Perfect!
Centerpieces turned out super cute!  Bright pink flowers surrounded by candy hearts!
The tables all ready for mommy to be guests to fill the seats!

A close up for each place setting.  Each guest Chocolate Chip, M and M cookie mix in a mason jar!
I know not everyone are huge game people at baby showers so, we really tried to keep it simple and fun!  But, come on, it's not a shower without having a little fun!
When guests arrived we had then fill out a "Wishes for Baby" page
that mommy & baby can enjoy for years to come!
This was my favorite - Each bag had a baby item in the bag that started with the letter on the bag.  Guests had to guess the item!  Best part was - mommy got a few extra goodies!
 Dessert Table!  Looks very yummy:)
Appetizers!
I didn't get a picture of the food but, man oh man was it tasty!!

I sadly did not get any pictures opening gift.
Thank goodness for Aunt Shawna, I stole a couple of hers from facebook!

I think mommy & daddy are all ready now!
Can't wait to meet our sweet little niece Brook!

A few weeks after the shower I saw this posted on facebook by daddy!
Check out her room! I told you, it was pink & green chevron!

Some people say I should of been a party planner!
Man, do I wish I had more spare time to do this!
It was so much fun & and honor to throw such a

great shower for my sister -in -law and soon to niece!
