Daddy's Hot Rod

Mommy & Daddy got a nice night off - we went to Daddy's softball game and decided to stop for some ice cream - on our way out (1) a "little" boy in the parking lot said "Hey - that's a nice hot rod!" Kids say the darnest things..

Everyone [1] took the evening off to take the boat out for a drive & of course a nice little dinner out as well:) Perfect evening to say the least!

4th of July

What could be any better than spending the day with our family:)

We got to enjoy the long holiday weekend with lots of parties, family, sun, swimming!


Zennon was able to meet his cousins ( visiting from Hawaii) for the 1st time and Connor got to swim with them!!

Our Little Man... Gets his special Day!!!!

Zennon is baptised... With a little help from his Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Bob who flew all this way just to be here to support him! He really just doesn't understand yet - how much he is truly LOVED!


I must say with all this rain and cold weather we have been getting lately I was not sure if we would be able to pull off a nice day to celebrate Zennon's baptism but, we did. It was probably pushing 90 degrees with a nice breeze to go along with. We had lots of family who made it our to support him and we thank them for that:) I know we had more who would of loved to came but, could just not make it here and we thank them too - I know they wished they could of been here.. But with that said BOTH of my boys had a great day. Zennon just showered with love & support and loving the attention and being passed around. Connor on the other hand could not wait for his cousins to get there and play with him! He just had the best time ever playing with his cousins!


Ya I know.. He totally pulled off the look:) He is just a doll:) He was all dressed up and ready to support his baby brother.

Well.. It may have been just a little while since my last update so where did I leave off: Me and Zennon both had check ups since the last time I wrote, everything seems to be just perfect! Zennon is just exactly at 11 lbs and like Eric and I say - already growing oh so very much!! He is really starting to be quiet the charmer! On Thursday he had his first "smile" and by this I mean we have made him smile! Not just a little smirk because he is passing some gas. We can now make him flash us those adorable dimples! He is doing very well at holding up his head although we are still there to support it he is almost ready to do it on his own.
Connor has his days where he is super great on the potty - we can go about 2 days with big boy underwear and no accidents then we have an exciting day and he is just two excited to take the time. So he is improving I'm having a feeling summer is a super hard time to learn. But he is doing good so, we will keep trying and hopefully get there very soon!

For the past 4 days Uncle Bob and Aunt Jennifer were in town and my oh my did Connor ever have a blast! He got to ride bikes, play bubbles, play football, and just about anything else he could do with them or them with him. He kept them busy and I have a feeling he is going to be catching up on his sleep for another week to come and I'm sure them as well:) He just doesn't stop when he has someone to play with- he sure did have a great time with them - and was quite sad when he woke up this morning only to realize they had left:( I guess I see a trip to visit them in our future..Im sure I left out tons but Connor is ready to ride bikes again! So we are out!!

Wow.. How Time Flies By...

I fee like a major slacker it has been since Easter that I have got on here to update:( I guess we have just been keeping busy and all my days are running together or it may be that since the weather has been nice out that we have been spending most of our days outdoors! So, since I last posted!

Ok, so I totally cannot believe Zennon is already a month old - As I was filling in his 1 month old page on his scrap/memories book for the first 5 years - I realized I don't know where this first month has already gone! He is such a good baby was sleeping alot the first few weeks but, now its starting to be more of a schedule we eat, play, hang out then he will nap before he is ready to eat again.. Do this a few times a day - I am very much enjoying him being awake and so is Connor.. We are starting to get some baby noises out of him and they are just the most precious noises I have ever heard. At one month old we finally had to say bye-bye to our newborn outfits and get out the 0-3 sizes! Excited for our new outfits but, really not ready for him to get bigger yet. He has been sleeping about 4-5 hours a night so, I truly cannot complain!

We slept our Tuesday with GiGi & Grandma Duris at the Zoo

It had to have been the perfect day to go - not busy at all - not to hot - and I think every animal was out to play, we went to the zoo alot last summer but,never saw as many animals active as we got to see this time! Perfect way to spend the day!


Got to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom's side of the family:) Us ladies went dress shopping for my cousin's wedding I am in (Which was a super successful trip) then it was back to meet up with the guys and kiddos - was a beautiful day with great food and wonderful chat! Connor as always had the best time with his best buddy Henry and he is starting to enjoy his time with Greta girl just as much:)

Daddy and Uncle Moose have joined the Men's softball team at our Church so, as long as weather is permitting we have been spending our Tuesday and Friday nights over at the field watching daddy play - Connor loves playing at the park and visiting with the other kids who happen to be there as well:)
Well I think I hear my little bubba waking up from a nap so, I better end this for now! Hope to not wait as long next time!
