No Picture :(

This is just terrible - For the first time since Connor was born I do believe this is the first time, I have not reached for my camera or made sweet boy pose for me so, I could get a super set up picture. Now, that I think about it - this does not make me very happy. I do think it may be because we didn't have power most of the week. I am proud to announce that after 4 days we did get power back. We got power back Thursday night around 7:30! I guess I never realized how easy it is to take advantage of the "not so small things" like electricity! We did go to Papa & Grandma Duris' on Tuesday to get out of our dark and powerless (except our 1 room - that was plugged into the garage)to enjoy a nice yummy dinner and visit with them and your cousin Austin! Then on Thursday we were over at Papa and Grandma Urbanski's to enjoy another yummy home cooked dinner when we seen our lights come back on! How excited we all were!!!! We went on Saturday to Chuck's house - he and Betty threw a couple's shower to introduce their new granddaughter to everyone. You Connor had a blast there were so many young kids for you to play with also his dog that you adored as usual. You and pets are just something we know nothing will ever come between...We spent our Sunday doing a little shopping - getting ready for baby Zennon to join our family then the rest of our evening with family - what could be better? Nothing! It was a fabulous day! The weather is getting just a little bit closer to SPRING - the sun has been out, the snow is melting, and we have reached the 40's - the weather did say this week should get into the 50's woo hoo - time to get out and take our "walks"!

Baby News: This week I am officially 32 weeks - that means only 8 weeks left until we all get to meet the newest addition to our family! I am going to the doctor every two weeks now and have an appointment on Friday:) This pregnancy really has gone by fast- Not totally sure how I feel about that - Love it because I am very ready to meet our sweet new baby boy but also am sad because I am going to miss all these little flutters that are constantly moving in my belly. I have grown the love them even if I am trying to sleep at night.

And.. we thought we were on our way to SPRING?!?!?

Well as our week went by we all started feeling better! We also got our "Valentine's Day!! Mommy, Daddy and Connor got to bake a decorate our Valentine's Day cupcakes, and it was just so adorable the whole time - we let Connor help us mix and bake them so, once we were done with that it was hard for him to understand that we had to wait and let them cool so, we could decorate them.. He was just so happy and excited since he had never done that before - Now that we know how much he enjoyed it, I have a feeling we can do that again very soon. We even ventured out a few times this week! That was until we got a lovely ice storm that knocked out our power! We are lucky that grandpa and grandma's house across the parking lot and "work" both have power so, we actually plugged into the garage for enough power to run our furnace, refrigerator, and light, television, other small items in our bedroom. Im happy we can atleast have heat and enough to let us stay in our house. We are hearing that we may not have power back until Thursday at 8PM. I'm hoping they are just saying that and will have it done earlier im not sure how I feel about waiting until Thursday evening. Especially since we lost it Monday morning at 4:00.
But on to our adventures. Mommy had a "baby doctor" (as connor calls it) appointment and since daddy had a super busy day on Friday - Connor and I spent the day out after my appointment. And I must say for a little boy he was so good for mommy! Got a few errands ran and just looked around - He did however enjoy our visit to Babies R Us - always seems to like the Elmo & Zoey ride (he is aloud to ride as long as he is good in the store, so you can imagine he was a perfect angel anything to get on that ride) Then on Sunday - Connor and family were invited to his cousin AJ's 12th birthday. Connor did not want to leave he is was a great time with his cousin's. On our way home from the party is when this nasty storm started.. Here are a few pictures of why my post was late..

We also had a guest last night "uncle moose" is also without power so, since we atleast got heat and some power he came to visit and hang out. Eric took a picture of our party lol in our one room with light and tv and even our wii - just so I could post it on here so here is our fun little one room party.

Baby News: On Connor and I's day out together we went to my "baby doctor" apoointment and everything is just perfect - Im still measuring about a week and a half ahead of my due date which is right on with my first date they gave me so, once we get closer she will decide if I can go back to my due date! That would be nice, I tell ya with only about 2 months left we are all starting to get very anxious! Connor enjoyed listening to the baby's heartbeat - he told daddy he heard the baby when he got home! I have also gained a total of 6lbs! Even being sick for a week so, I was happy about that! I also am thinking this baby is going to be one strong boy all day long I feel him doing flips, kicking, and moving all around! It is a much enjoyable feeling. Its just crazy to still think this little boy is almost ready to be born.

Happy Valentine's Day

Well that surely was not the outcome we were hoping for but, none the less it was a GREAT game.. Even though we did not get the ending of the game we wanted we still got to hang out and spend an entire weekend with Uncle Bob, Auntie Jennifer and Johnathan! We all played in the snow on Saturday and very badly wanted to make a snow man but, the snow was just not packing. But on Sunday Auntie Jennifer, Johnathan and Connor boy did make it out to make our STEELERS snowman it was super cute! He greeted people as they arrived for our party - which I must say was a very good time - Great company, good food and memories that we will keep forever! It took Mommy and Connor a few days after just to get the house all clean again. We finished that just in time to get outta the house and spend some time with daddy and grandma shopping on Friday then dinner with papa and uncle Eddie and Peter. Saturday mommy to go out with the all girls on the schneider side for our first ladies day. We went out to lunch then spent the afternoon painting pottery ( I was just a little worried going into it but, ended up being so much fun I so want to do it again) It was alot of fun to spend time with them all and I cant wait till our next ladies day out! Im glad I got out to do that on Saturday because something nasty hit this household the following morning. Well this was not the Valentine's Day our household had hoped for but, atleast we are all together - Connor boy loves his little gifts. We were all set to make cupcakes but, with none of us feeling to well I think we should plan on that in the next few days when we all feel up to it:( HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO ALL OUR WONDERFUL FAMILY & FRIENDS! WE LOVE YOU ALL!

BABY NEWS: 30 weeks - welcomed us with coughing, running noses and worst of all fevers! It was definatly not what we expected. Connor, Mommy and Daddy all spent most the day - either on the phone with my ob doctor - we were so worried about me and this baby or just sleeping. Ofcourse it was like just about a beautful day too and we all spent in it bed and watching movies with Connor. Im am proud to say that as of about 4:30 on Monday none of us still have the fever. Thats not say it wont be back so, were knocking on wood and keeping out fingers crossed. We are all still feeling under the weather but, hoping by tomorrow we will all start to feel just a little bit better. If my fever was not gone by this afternoon I would of had to make an visit to my doctor but, since the medicine kept it down unless it goes up again tonight I am scheduled for my 30 week visit on Friday - after that appointment I will be officially starting my every two week appointments! How exciting to think only 10 weeks left! I just cannot wait:) Im starting to get very inpatient.

wOO hOO :) Our Steelers have made it to the super bowl!! Not only is that like super exciting for us but, it means that Aunt Jennifer, Unlce Bob and Johnathan are coming to visit us! They will be here next Friday till Monday!! How fun for us any chance to spend time with them is fun for our whole family!! Not only did the Steelers make it to the SuperBowl but they will be playing the Green Bay Packers and Connor just incase you needed to know that is Papa Duris', Uncle Tom, Uncle Eddie, Peter and Adam's favorite team - so, this shall be one awesome game! Since our favorite team and their favorite team made it to the super bowl mommy and daddy decided to have a party here! What could be better?? I have such fun ideas running through my head - I just can't wait!!! GO STEELERS!!! Anyways- you and me have been super busy this week - we have just had alot of errands, housework and playtime ofcourse - we love our book reading time, and tool time and also our building of the blocks! Oh I wish I could get you outside everyday with winter still in its peak im really starting to miss our spring, summer and fall days when we could spend all day outside playing and getting plenty of exercise! Now the last two days have not been to bad snow is melting I think I may be able to bundle you up and when daddy is home for work we may be able to take a walk!! How much you sure would love that! I am also super exciting to tell you that just in the past week or so you are talking in sentences - i mean you had put words together when we have told you to but, now you can tell us in a sentences what you want! Its so, fun to be able to talk with you and just to see you mature and a sweet little boy! You are very smart for a 2 year old! You have also mastered counting to 5! How fun - Time to start on our ABC's..

Baby News of the week: Daddy and I got the crib all set up, and were hoping to go this week and get some bedding and a mattress - incase you are wondering why we didn't use yours - It ended up having a recall and we had to take the crib back at that point we bought you your cars bed which uses the same mattress as your crib so, here we are buying sweet new baby Zennon his own crib, mattress and some new bedding! I have also reached my third - trimester, I think its safe to say that I can see the end in sight! I received my pre registration packet from the hospital and got that all filled out and sent back in - we are getting very close to you meeting your new baby brother! Mommy has gained a total of 3 pounds so far but, this last trimester i believe I will putting on more weight all to help this sweet baby out!

Our New Adventure's..

Now, sweet Connor boy - don't take this the wont way - Daddy has loved every day, every minutes, every new thing you have done as a newborn up until now - but, I will say I think this was an age he was always looking forward too. I think sometimes he even thinks you are older than 28 months, when he try's to play different things with you. Let's see where was I? Oh to the title - New adventures! It seems and though sometimes as much as we enjoy our everyday toys some new ones are always fun! So, first off Auntie Andrea and Uncle Moose got you play-doh for Christmas and that seems to be one of our fun past times - we make "food" and "animals" and really anything else you want mommy to try her best and make! Second, Daddy has taught you how to make a fort in both mommy and daddy's room and our living room - so, once you are in bed and sounds asleep I will fold up the sheets and put them back in the closet only to have you wake up in the morning and have the sheets out to built your fort yet again! Its fun to see how much you and daddy enjoy playing in your "new" fort! Thirdly your new favorite thing to do is to follow the Cadi around the house and do just exactly what he does! You love to give him treats, you throw his toys for him, and you just act like a little cat yourself. Sometimes daddy and I don't know why this is your new obsession but, also find it just funny. Poor Cadi I will admit - you can be loud and drive him crazy but, he is just the tropper to let you follow and play with him ALL day EVERY day if mom and dad would let you. I choose this picture this week because daddy helped you hold Cadi and you just thought it was the best thing in the whole world. You soooo did not want him to get down! If you look closely at the back ground you can also see one of the forts that it up..lol!!! Fourth and final new thing for just this week, I have noticed that you are really starting to like the cartoon Max and Ruby - I didnt even know what this was until you got a dvd from the Hawaiians for your birthday - they must now, well now we found it on tv also, so between the dvd and the hour they have it on the cartoon channel it will destrack you long enough for mommy to shower and get some work around the house done before we spend the rest the of day playing!
So, this winter in my eyes has been pretty mild (now, that I say that, Im sure we will just get blasted and I will reget I ever opened my mouth) with that being said - Everyone (Aunt Jennifer to be specific) has asked about "snow playing" pictures and even though its been cold not as much snow and we usually get, we did get out in the snow back in December but, just as of last week we are a white covered ground again, and today you and Daddy got out to play in the snow for a second time this year! You sure do love it, its just so cold I don't like you out there to long!

Baby news: Mommy had her 26 week check up this week along with her glutose test - won't be sure of the results until my next visit but, am thinking they would call if there was a problem! So, everything with baby Zennon is still looking great! Mommy is measuring right on where I should be and that heart beat sounds great! Connor is acting more and more questions about the baby at first I really thought this would be hard for him but, the closer and closer we get to my due date I am seeing how I think he will just be the best big brother ever! Im so excited for him to be able to help mommy and after awhile have his best play mate ever!

So as we welcome 2011, 14 days into this year already - I believe more and more when people say you are so busy around the holiday's. As much as I didn't want to admit that was true here I am just filling in my sweet boy about our holiday season.. We certainly do have a wonderful family and everyone wanting to get together is even better - I think we had about 10 parties between Christmas Eve and January 2! You enjoyed each and everyone one of them, you got to spend time with all your cousins older, younger and those just about the same age! I am so thankful we have such a huge support team so, you can enjoy all the wonderful time with your family as well.. So, as I sat here today debating what I was going to write for this first post in what seems like forever (realizing I could tell you just about anything - since it has been so long ) I listened to you play with your new mega blocks table talking to the cars and driving them around the track you built just laughing after almost sentence I realized you still have no idea why you received that awesome new toy but, none the less you loved and were thankful for it:) I can't wait until you do realize what santa is and more importantly once that phase is over for you to realize the true meaning of christmas! I think we are finally getting back to our usual routine - naps are back to a regular schedule (which some days over this holiday season i really wished we could of gave you a nap) you are just such a happy and fun loving sweet child, i felt so bad you would miss naps and stay up way later and get up earlier than usual.. But none the less you were just a tropper!
So, now that we have that caught up - lately we have just been adjusting to being back at home, our daily chores, and since we did get some snow - trying to play outside in the snow! You also have been helping mommy and daddy at work - wish grandma and grandpa urbanski down in florida on vacation, mom and dad have spent alot of time and work which means so, did you - you don't mind at all - work is like a second ome to you, toys, coloring books, and lots of room to run - you just love it!

As for baby news : No updates since my last post - I do however have a dr appointment on wednesday - woo hoo, time to make sure everything is still on track and baby is growing how he should be..More to come!

But before I go, I know we have an extremly excited 2011 planned already! So bring on this new year:)
